The Resource Assistant to Community Impact provides essential administrative and logistical support to the Community Impact team at the Jewish Federation of St. Louis. This role helps ensure the smooth implementation of programs and partnerships that serve the Jewish community. The Resource Assistant will coordinate scheduling, help manage grant and program documentation, assist with communication materials, and support events and stakeholder engagement efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative & Project Support
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate logistics for Community Impact programs and events.
- Track and maintain records, documents, and files related to programs, grants, and community initiatives.
- Assist with preparation of reports, presentations, and internal communications.
- Support data entry and management in CRM or grant databases.
Program and Grant Coordination
- Help organize community events, learning sessions, and partner meetings.
- Provide logistical support for grant cycles, including application tracking and follow-up communications.
- Ensure accurate documentation of grant outcomes and impact metrics.
Communication and Outreach
- Assist with preparing communications, newsletters, and social media content related to community impact work.
- Coordinate with marketing to promote initiatives and share success stories.
- Respond to basic inquiries from community partners and assist in maintaining relationships.
Team Collaboration
- Attend Community Impact team meetings and contribute to brainstorming and planning efforts.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Finance, Development, Marketing) as needed to support cross-functional work.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in administrative, nonprofit, or program support roles.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with CRM systems a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
