Position Summary:
The Campaign Manager, Revenue Development & Sponsorship is a key member of Federation’s Development division, responsible for developing and executing strategic fundraising initiatives that drive revenue growth through corporate sponsorships, individual giving.
This role will centralize and professionalize stewardship efforts, manage critical sponsor relationships, and serve as a unifying force across all revenue-generating activities.
With an emphasis on building sustainable partnerships, this position plays a pivotal role in strengthening our community impact and supporting our organizational growth. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, results-driven relationship builder, and compelling communicator with experience in sponsorship acquisition.
Job Responsibilities:
Sponsorship & Partnership Development:
- Build and manage relationships with corporate sponsors to secure a minimum of $200,000 annually in sponsorship funding.
- Identify and cultivate strategic sponsorship opportunities aligned with the Federation’s mission and audience.
- Write, solicit, and negotiate sponsorship proposals and multi-year agreements.
- Ensure sponsor deliverables are met and provide high-quality stewardship to sustain and grow support.
- Leverage both organizational sponsorship history and personal or professional sponsor network to identify and initiate new corporate partnership opportunities.
Strategic Planning & Coordination:
- Centralize and streamline all sponsorship engagement activities across the department.
- Collaborate with the Campaign Director and senior leadership to align sponsorship fundraising strategies with organizational priorities.
- Utilize data and CRM systems to track partner touchpoints, sponsorship pipelines, and campaign progress.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior campaign staff, ensuring high-quality execution of fundraising initiatives.
Marketing & Communications:
- Work cross-functionally with the marketing and events teams to design sponsor-facing materials and sponsorship packages that effectively communicate impact.
- Act as the lead point of contact for sponsors, ensuring timely communication, recognition, and reporting.
- Represent the organization at community events and serve as a brand ambassador to strengthen community connections.
- Provide monthly reports on action items, developed and reviewed in collaboration with the Campaign Director, to ensure accountability and strategic alignment.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in fundraising, sponsorship sales, donor relations, or related roles.
- Proven track record of securing and stewarding both individual and corporate donors.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience writing compelling proposals.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to manage multiple relationships and move prospects through a partner lifecycle.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and fundraising analytics.
- Collaborative and adaptable team player with a passion for community building.
- Demonstrated ability to bring or activate a personal/professional network of potential sponsors, corporate donors, or business contacts.
