Chabad Richmond is a registered charity serving both the Jewish and secular communities as a Jewish Learning and Cultural Centre. Our programs and activities include education programs for both adults and children, social programs for the entire community.

The Customer Relations Clerk position will leverage the functionality of Salesforce (a customer relationship management tool) to capture and update data to ensure the efficient logging of information, establishing a single view of our relationships with members of the public, prospects, patrons/donors and reporting against targets.

Responsibilities:
• Make changes and update our CRM database – maintaining the integrity and quality of the database using various methods including social media, outbound calling, internet and face to face customer interactions.
• Support the Program Coordinator, Program Manager and Director with data entry, weekly administration duties and customer facing activities.
• Work with the Program Manager to create/organize all content for the annual High Holiday mailout, which will include working with various external suppliers.
• Perform clerical tasks such as printing documents, editing internet and Facebook content using desktop and Canva, and liaise with external content support team to ensure accurate and updated information is available for users to access readily.
• Ensure data security and protection is maintained at all times.
• Be adaptable and willing to jump in and help with other projects such as our Light of Shabbat meal program and 55+ program

Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in (or just completed) a post-secondary education program in business administration, arts or communications
• Confident communication skills to establish and enhance both new and existing customer relationships
• Proficient with MS Office 365 Word / Excel, and with social media and presentation software such as Canva, Facebook and Instagram.
• Previous experience with Salesforce and/or Databases preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to readily set priorities while adapting to the developing changes of the organization

This position will run for 9 weeks, 30 hours per week - $20 per hr
To be noted, this is not a remote position and will require you to work in person at our Richmond, BC location.

As this is a Canadian Government Summer Jobs funded position, you MUST be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident and aged 30 or younger to qualify.
