The School and Programs Coordinator is a vital support role coordinating the smooth logistical operations of the Frankel Religious School (FRS) and synagogue programs, providing comprehensive support to the Director of Education, the Director of Community Engagement, and FRS staff.Key Responsibilities (selection)- Event coordination and technical setup for assemblies/programs; purchase/distribute snacks; staff weekly Tot Shabbat at the Stroum JCC- Student records management; payroll/HR support for FRS staff; general administrative support; communication and reporting via ShulCloud- Programming support with Community Engagement; staff and coordinate logistics for events; manage calendars; volunteer coordination- Membership monitoring; field trip coordination; general programming support; meeting attendanceQualifications (selection)- Bachelor’s degree preferred; 2–3 years administrative experience (educational/nonprofit preferred); strong organization/communication; Microsoft Office and database familiarity; basic A/V tech support; ability to lift/move itemsWorking Conditions & Pay- Onsite; evenings/weekends as required; available Sunday mornings during school year; reliable transportation- Hiring Salary Range: $25.00–$32.00/hour; full-time, hourly, non-exempt; full benefitsThis position is located on Mercer Island, WA and is an onsite role.
