Are you a natural connector/organizer? PJ Library Parent Connectors inspire and nurture the growth of Jewish families with young children in the Greater Seattle Area. The ideal candidate is a warm organizer/planner who connects families around shared interests and is invested in personal growth through Jewish learning.A Parent Connector is: a PJ Library parent in the Seattle catchment area; an ambassador for PJ Library; excited to meet and welcome parents; an excellent communicator and relationship-builder; passionate about Jewish life; self-motivated and open to new ideas; familiar with local parent communication outlets; knowledgeable about local parent resources; respectful of the range of Jewish connection and knowledge among parents.Compensation / Hours / Work Format: $27.00/hour; flexible hours up to 20 hours/month (more with approval); flexible work hours including evenings/weekends; remote working and in person for events; flexible budget for coffee dates and event materials.Responsibilities: Support families using PJ Library Get Together Grants; create and implement at least 1 gathering per month; deepen connections through meetings, calls, email, and social; participate in orientation and bi-monthly supervision with the PJ Library Program Manager; quarterly all-connector sessions; share PJ Library sign-up; collect/maintain participant info; submit monthly reports; support larger PJ Library programs as needed.Position requirements: Flexible schedule including weekends; represent PJ Library Seattle professionally; provide own transportation to events.How to Apply: Set up a 15–20 minute Zoom call with PJ Library Program Manager Rachel Zell and send a resume to jobs@jewishinseattle.org.
