The Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh seeks a dynamic, driven and entrepreneurial professional for the Assistant Vice President, Development & Foundation (AVPDF). The AVPDF is an integral part of the Federation’s Development team with responsibility for cultivation and stewardship of high-potential donors and prospects. Reporting to the Associate Vice President, Development & Foundation, the AVPDF will identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward major donor level annual commitments as well as endowments and other planned gifts; initiating, maintaining, and growing these relationships to maximize their long-term value and benefit to the Federation as both donors and leaders.

This is a high-profile position working with some of the Federation’s most significant and/or potential major donors. The AVPDF is accountable for generating new and increased community campaign, endowment and supplemental commitments that support the Federation and its programs, matching the philanthropic interests of identified donors with the mission and goals of Federation.

The Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh is the central fundraising and community planning organization for the Pittsburgh Jewish community. We provide funding to local and overseas core partners, as well as independent programs that provides education, security and health and human welfare services.
