Job Description
The Jewish Federation of Greater Houston seeks a versatile and dynamic Education Program Associate. This role blends programmatic support, marketing, logistics, and administrative responsibilities to advance key community events and ongoing teen education and engagement efforts.

Assist in planning, logistics, and on-site execution of teen and community educations programs, including weekly operations, special events, and collaborative initiatives.
Create and manage social media, promotional materials, newsletters, and website content while analyzing engagement and feedback to improve outreach.
Maintain tracking systems, databases, and correspondence; support meetings and ensure smooth execution of projects through strong organizational practices.
Collect data, implement evaluation tools, and contribute to post-program analysis for continuous improvement of teen and community programs.
Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
2-3 years of experience in educational programming, preferably in a Jewish communal setting.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication abilities.
Proven ability to work collaboratively with staff, lay leaders, and community partners.
Comfortable multitasking, flexible, and adaptable to changing priorities.
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds and engage in physical activity typical of event set-up and participation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, SharePoint).
Experience with Constant Contact, Canva, CRM systems.
Competency in managing social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
Experience with website management and basic analytics tools.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
Primarily office-based with regular off-site program responsibilities.
Regular evening and occasional weekend work required for program events.
Ability to stand, walk, and perform light physical tasks (up to 30 lbs) as needed for event support.
