JOB TITLE: Master’s Prepared Clinician- OBH and Community Based FLSA CATEGORY: Exempt DEPARTMENT: Outpatient Behavior Health SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: NO SUPERVISOR: Wendell Covell ACCESS TO CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION: Yes, REGULAR HOURS: 40/ hours Fee for Service WORK CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL: Must be able to drive short and long distance; get in and out of a vehicle and into and out of homes/buildings that may or may not have an elevator. SUMMARY: The Master’s Prepared Clinician will work under the direction and clinical supervision of the Deputy Director of Programming,creating a client based that combines office and virtual OBH visits and Mobile Therapy visits with clients and families. Responsible for providing assessment and therapy services for children, adolescents and adults in the assigned communities. The therapist is responsible for coordinating, managing, supporting and facilitating appropriate services to meet the needs of individual clients. This position requires coverage of New Kent county. You will be reimbursed for some mileage. DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: - Develop and document initial assessments of individual treatment needs by way of one-on-one sessions and use of any records that are sent by referral agencies in the client home.
- In collaboration with other resources--including family members, agency representatives, other agencies involved in the individual's treatment--using behavioral health assessment tools and following guidelines established by regulatory and practice requirements, develop treatment plan goals for assigned individuals
- Maintain progress notes and progress reports, and modify treatment plans according to changes in client status
- Provide clinically appropriate treatment through individual counseling consistent with the treatment plan goals
- Utilize individuals' natural and professional supports as relevant to assist individuals in meeting their treatment plan goals
- Assure continuous reimbursable sessions by maintaining the required number of sessions as outlined in the offer agreement.
- Ensure that all required documentation is completed to standards prior to inspections by payer or regulatory agencies
- Interface with other Jewish Family Services clinical personnel, including therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, and Certified Peer Specialists relative to the individual's overall treatment plan, in support of the overall outpatient program
- Attend internal team meetings and other outside meetings as directed by the Clinical Director or designee with the goal to support the clients’ needs in reaching their treatment plan goals
- Perform other duties as assigned
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: - Must be a DE-licensed eligible Master’s Prepared clinician who is self-motivated, warm and genuine, and can provide excellent clinical care in an outpatient private practice setting.

- Must possess excellent customer interaction, collaboration, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Outlook
- Must be able to utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) / Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
SALARY AND ONBOARDING - Position will be compensated as a Fee for Service with a required amount of agreed upon billable hours.
- Employee will be responsible for all taxes starting work as a 1099 based employee. Upon reaching the agreed upon billable hours, employee may change to a salaried position that includes benefits..
- Clinician will only be paid for time spent with the client(s). No payment will be made for no-shows.
