JFS is closed most Federal and Jewish holidays.Job Description: The Medical Guardian Project Manager is a motivated and proactive professional dedicated to improving the safety and independence of older adults in the community. This entry-level position manages the Medical Guardian Personal Emergency Response System (PERS), a life-enhancing device that allows older adults to live safely, comfortably, and independently. The Project Manager must be comfortable with entering customer homes to complete installs of the PERS device. The Project Manager conducts outreach and engages with the community through public speaking and presentations to promote the program. The ideal candidate is compassionate, empathetic, and driven by a genuine commitment to enhancing the well-being and dignity of older adults.Job Duties: Daily Management — Medical Guardian PERS Device – Manage the electronic personal emergency response system program; manage the day-to-day sales, marketing, customer service/support, and administrative processes; travel to customer homes to complete device installations; look for opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer service; track equipment service issues, incident reports, maintain Medical Guardian inventory, process new subscribers (post installation paperwork), deactivate returned devices, oversee incoming intake calls, transition intakes to program participants, and communicate/report to JFS management and Medical Guardian. Marketing — Draft an annual strategic marketing plan with specific benchmarks for growth; ensure the plan includes timelines, tasks, assignments, deliverables, budgets, and performance standards; represent JFS at community functions and events to promote the Medical Guardian PERS Device; seek input from all providers and JFS staff, customers, and the JFS board; plan components to include Referral Network Growth, Communications Plan, Marketing Materials. Finance — Collaborate with the Chief Financial Officer and the Donor Client Services Manager on budget development and monitoring, accounts payable and accounts receivable. Volunteer Management — Assist in recruiting and training new Medical Guardian volunteers; supervise the specific responsibilities delegated to these volunteers.Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in a related field; minimum 2 years of customer service experience; minimum 1–2 years of marketing experience; ability to capture and analyze data, identify key performance indicators (KPI’s) and use critical thinking, innovation, and creativity to achieve agency program goals and objectives; excellent written and communication skills including public speaking; computer skills including MS Word, Excel and using cloud-based provider software; must have valid driver’s license and means of transportation for job related local travel.Please prepare a cover letter explaining why you are interested in the position to include with your resume and 3 professional references.
