JFS subsidizes 80% of employee medical, dental, and vision insurance, and offers matching contributions through a 403b plan, $500 annual professional development stipend, and free CEUs.Basic Function: We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled licensed therapist to join our team. The LCSW Therapist will work with individuals, couples, and families to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide variety of emotional and behavioral issues that affect them and their families. JFS accepts most commercial insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, and we offer a sliding fee scale. Together with the client, the Therapist will develop an ongoing case plan to measure the client’s progress. The Therapist will maintain a caseload of 25-30 counseling clients. For more information on JFS, please visit our website: www.jfsneworleans.org.Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain a counseling client caseload which can include children, adolescents, and adult clients; attend and participate in weekly clinical staff meetings; refer clients to updated community resources; maintain a high standard of record-keeping according to state laws and JFS policies; other duties as assigned by the Chief Clinical Officer.Minimum Qualifications: LCSW is required. Excellent written and communication skills including knowledge of Social Work Code of Ethics required. Must have experience working in a clinical setting. JFS operates with a web-based electronic health record; the eligible individual must have computer skills.
