JFS subsidizes 80% of employee medical, dental, and vision insurance, and offers matching contributions through a 403b plan, $500 annual professional development stipend, and free CEUs.Basic FunctionWe are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled licensed therapist to join our team. The LCSW Therapist will work with individuals, couples, and families to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide variety of emotional and behavioral issues that affect them and their families. JFS accepts most commercial insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, and we offer a sliding fee scale. JFS empowers our clients to make the positive changes they are looking for. Together with the client, the Therapist will develop an ongoing case plan to measure the client’s progress. The Therapist will maintain a caseload of 25-30 counseling clients. For more information on JFS, please visit our website: www.jfsneworleans.org.Duties and Responsibilities:- Maintain a counseling client caseload which can include children, adolescents, and adult clients.- Attend and participate in weekly clinical staff meetings.- Refer clients to updated community resources.- Maintain a high standard of record-keeping according to state laws and JFS policies.- Other duties as assigned by the Chief Clinical Officer.Minimum Qualifications:LCSW is required. Excellent written and communication skills including knowledge of Social Work Code of Ethics required. Must have experience working in a clinical setting. JFS operates with a web-based electronic health record; the eligible individual must have computer skills.
