POSITION SUMMARY:

The Digital Marketing Coordinator is responsible for capturing/developing/creating engaging content that continues to build our audience and generate engagement across multiple social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google Business, and Yelp). Reporting to the Sr. Director of Philanthropy and Community Relations, this position will also provide digital marketing support for agency programs and services, including locating storytelling opportunities, building promotional campaigns, and/or newsletters.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop social media content calendar and coordinate with internal staff on stories and initiatives to feature
  • Capture, develop, create and post engaging content to agency Social Media platforms with consistency
  • Provide support in creating emails and newsletters with special attention on program highlights
  • Produce social videos, copy, and graphics
  • Measure, analyze and report on the performance of social media initiatives
  • Attend agency committee meetings, fundraising events, or programs as needed
  • Other marketing duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 1-year experience in nonprofits, communications, or marketing preferred (including internships)
  • Skilled in Canva, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and social post platforms such as Hootsuite or Loomly
  • Experience with MS Word, MS Excel, Constant Contact, Adobe Premiere Pro, Aftereffects
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication required
  • Self-starter and ability to work as part of a collaborative team
  • Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends for special events
