Position Summary:
The Mobile Pantry Program Coordinator leads all aspects of JFS’s Mobile Food Pantry operations. This position is responsible for planning and implementing mobile distributions, managing logistics and inventory, building strong community partnerships, and ensuring that all services are provided with dignity, equity, and inclusion.
The Coordinator plays a key role in bringing nutritious food directly to neighborhoods facing barriers to access. This role is performed primarily outdoors and requires working in all weather conditions.
Typical hours are 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Salary: $ 22.00 - $25.00

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and carry out the weekly schedule for Mobile Pantry services.
- Safely operate and maintain the mobile pantry truck, ensuring compliance with safety and health standards.
- Build and maintain relationships with community partners to host distributions in high-need areas, including food deserts, refugee communities, and low-income neighborhoods.
- Lead on-site setup, distribution, and tear-down at each mobile location.
- Supervise and support volunteers to ensure efficient, safe, and client-centered operations.
- Conduct client intakes and maintain accurate program records and logs.
- Track and report inventory, product orders, and distributions in collaboration with the Food Security team.
- Conduct outreach to identify new site opportunities and promote services to the community.
- Collect and input program data for monthly reports and grant compliance.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment that meets or exceeds health and sanitation standards.
- Respond to client and volunteer needs in a calm, compassionate, and solutions-oriented manner.
- Represent JFS with professionalism, dignity, and respect in all community interactions.
- Attend meetings, trainings, and events as required.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

The Mobile Pantry Program Coordinator works as part of the Food Security team within the Community Resources for Stability department. Qualifications:
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent credentials
Experience:
- Two years of work experience in human services, community outreach, logistics, or a related field
- Experience coordinating programs, volunteers, or community events preferred
Requirements:
- Bilingual in Spanish or Russian, or another language commonly spoken by JFS clients, preferred
- Minimum of 25 years of age
- Have a valid Colorado Driver’s License and meet insurance eligibility requirements
- Have a clean motor vehicle driving record- no moving violations in the last 3 years
- Enjoy working with a non-profit social service agency serving a diverse population
- Comfortable operating a mobile box truck
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, and lift overhead for extended periods.
- Ability to enter and exit the truck multiple times daily.
- Ability to work outdoors for several hours in various weather conditions
