Position Summary: We’re seeking a compassionate individual dedicated to empowering those in need of temporary assistance through our TANF program. In this role, you will manage a caseload of participants, offering guidance, overseeing service delivery, providing mentorship, and coordinating referrals. Your efforts will help ensure high-quality support from JFS and other community resources, fostering each participant’s journey toward long-term self-sufficiency.
This is a hybrid position.
Salary Range: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour

Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate case management records and physical files.
- Completes intake, conducts a range of assessments with participants to identify and address challenges to employment and engagement, and assists in goal setting and life planning.
- Liaison to support service agencies and public organizations to make referrals. Facilitates the acquisition of services and resources to meet the needs of the individuals on caseload.
- Monitors case plan, enters client enrollment, hours of participation, activities, termination, and employment information.
- Maintains case notes, manages case numbers and progress within the program.
- Manages the master file and is responsible for quality assurance and file integrity as per funder/JFS requirements.
- Provides supportive services and assists participants in accessing other community services with a focus on removing barriers to employment and home life stability.
- Provides job placement support in collaboration with the JFS Employment Services Teams.
- Utilizes CBMS/WMS and database to maintain secure storage of participant paperwork, activities, and plans.
- Maintains HIPAA compliance with all participant information, documents, and paperwork.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education:
- BS in Human Services or similar degree preferred.
Experience:
- Prefer 3 years’ hands-on experience in a facilitating role in a multi-cultural environment, serving adults with multiple barriers to employment.
- Experience should include needs assessment, mentoring, organization, and oversight of a wide range of support services for individuals with diverse needs and learning styles. 1-2 years working with community service providers.
- Strong ability to learn, understand, and apply policies that pertain to case management, training/education, allocation of support services, and employment.
Other:
- Must possess own transportation, have a good driving record, maintain a valid driver's license, and provide proof of insurance coverage that meets agency coverage standards.
- Strong computer skills and ability to work virtually.
