Position: Driver (PALS)Organization: Jewish Family &amp; Career ServicesReports to: Homecare DirectorPosition Type: Part Time - AfternoonFLSA Status: ExemptLocation: Louisville, KentuckySalary: $17.00 per hourPurpose: Passport Around Louisville Service (PALS) Driver will provide older adults with transportation for medical appointments, errands, shopping and outings. Adheres to safe driving practices and will not operate a cell phone while driving.Essential Functions: Transport clients per schedule; follow safety regulations; provide stand-by assistance; escort clients; document mileage/maintenance; maintain vehicle readiness; communicate with Homecare Director; assist with other agency transportation tasks; maintain accurate and confidential records.Requirements: High school graduate preferred; 20+ years old; valid driver’s license and clean DMV record.Pre-Employment: Background and driver record check; negative TB test, drug screen, valid driver’s license and proof of insurance required.Please submit your resume and cover letter to jobs@jfcslouisville.org.
