Position: Marketing & Events ManagerOrganization: Jewish Family & Career ServicesReports to: Director of AdvancementPosition Type: Full TimeFLSA Status: ExemptLocation: Louisville, KentuckySalary: $52,000-$57,000Website: www.jfcslouisville.orgEssential Responsibilities1. Strategic Marketing – Maintain a 12‑month marketing calendar across email, social, web, and print both internal and external communication2. Event Management – Plan and execute the five main annual fundraising events: MOSAIC Awards, Republic Bank Players Challenge, Community Chats, Seligman Speaker Series, and Mindfest, from concept to post‑mortem.3. Corporate Engagement – cultivate relationships with corporate partners and grow corporate revenue for events4. Media relationship – grow media relations and traditional media coverage, including television, radio, and newspaper, holistically highlighting programs, event promotion, and general brand awareness.5. Budget & Analytics – Build event and marketing budgets; track KPIs6. Campaign management – work with Director of Advancement to set goals, market, and meet the goals of campaigns including Give for Good, KY Gives Day, Giving Tuesday, and others as they come up7. Collaboration – work closely with the program team to collect and communicate stories of client successes in a trauma-informed, asset-based way. Coordinate with the Advancement team on potential corporate opportunities, including sponsorship opportunities, volunteer opportunities, foundation proposal opportunities, etc.8. Committee Management – effectively manage communication and coordination of the following committees made up of volunteers, board, and staff: - MOSAIC - Golf - Seligman - Marketing CommitteeRequired Skills & Experience- 3 years in fundraising events and/or nonprofit marketing- Experience with platforms including Constant Contact, Donor Perfect, Microsoft Suite, etc. or similar platforms required- A passion for the JFCS vision, mission and values- Meticulous organizational skills, attention to detail, and self-motivated to meet deadlines- Demonstrated ability to excel in a fast-paced environment working both collaboratively and autonomously when required- Demonstrated ability to hit revenue targets, manage vendors, and build relationships- Excellent storytelling, copy‑editing, and project‑management skills- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills (face-to-face, phone, emails, letter writing)- Ability to verbally and visually articulate the JFCS story- The ability to make difficult, but diplomatic decisions- Adhere to strict confidentiality of prospect and donor information- Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit- A basic knowledge and the eagerness to learn principles and best practices in the areas of customer service, fundraising and relationship buildingPlease submit your resume and cover letter to jobs@jfcslouisville.org.
