Full-Time | 35-Hour Work Week | Atlanta, GA

Build Technology That Helps Our People Do Their Best Work

Jewish Family & Career Services of Atlanta (JF&CS) is seeking a thoughtful, hands-on Systems and Process Specialist to help our staff use technology more effectively, improve how work gets done, and make better use of data.

With a 125-year history of supporting individuals and families of all faiths, JF&CS provides essential services across more than 25 programs. Behind that work are systems, processes, forms, reports, and data that need to work reliably for the people who depend on them.

The north star for this role is simple: make it easier for our staff to do their best work.

The Role at a Glance

  • Agency-wide, hands-on technology role
  • Provides hands-on support for Salesforce administration and optimization
  • Partners with program, administrative, and fundraising teams
  • Improves processes, workflows, data, and reporting
  • Trains and supports staff with different levels of technical comfort

This role blends technical skill with problem-solving, communication, and relationship-building. You will need to understand both the system and the people using it. Success will not be measured by how much technology you introduce, but by whether that technology helps JF&CS work more effectively.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Process Improvement and Automation

  • Partner with teams across JF&CS to understand and document how work gets done
  • Identify bottlenecks, repetitive tasks, and processes that are harder than they need to be
  • Recommend practical improvements based on staff needs and agency priorities
  • Build, test, and maintain workflows, forms, and automations using tools such as Salesforce Flow, Power Automate, and online form builders
  • Document workflows so that systems and processes remain understandable and sustainable

Salesforce and Business Systems

  • Support the ongoing administration and improvement of Salesforce and related systems
  • Assist with user management, permissions, system configuration, and routine maintenance
  • Monitor integrations and automations to help ensure that information moves accurately between systems
  • Troubleshoot issues and work with staff or outside partners to resolve them
  • Test new features, configurations, and automations before deployment

Data Quality and Reporting

  • Improve the accuracy and reliability of agency data through validation, deduplication, and regular review
  • Audit reports, dashboards, and program data for accuracy and consistency
  • Support the development and refinement of reports and dashboards for program and leadership use
  • Support the collection and maintenance of demographic, service, and program data
  • Help establish clear practices for how important data is entered, maintained, and used

Training and Staff Support

  • Create clear, useful training materials, tutorials, and system documentation
  • Conduct onboarding and ongoing training for staff
  • Provide responsive user support and troubleshoot day-to-day issues
  • Explain technical information in plain English
  • Reinforce good practices and help staff become more confident using agency systems
  • Listen to user feedback and use it to improve tools, processes, and training
Requirements

What We’re Looking For

You are:

  • A practical problem-solver who is curious about how organizations work
  • Equally comfortable talking with staff and working inside a system
  • Patient and able to explain technology without making people feel intimidated
  • Organized, responsive, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Interested in improving the work, not introducing technology for its own sake
  • Motivated by mission and the opportunity to help a nonprofit serve people more effectively

You have:

  • At least two years of experience in CRM administration, systems support, or a technology-focused process improvement role
  • Hands-on experience building or maintaining forms, workflows, or automations using Salesforce Flow, FormTitan, Formstack, Jotform, or a comparable platform
  • Experience documenting, evaluating, or improving business or technical processes
  • Experience providing technical support, training, or guidance to users
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
  • The ability to translate staff needs into practical technology solutions
  • A bachelor’s degree in information technology, business systems, computer science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

It would be especially helpful if you bring:

  • Salesforce Administrator certification
  • Experience with Salesforce Flow, Power Automate, Zapier, or similar automation tools
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted productivity tools such as ChatGPT or Claude
  • Experience in a nonprofit, healthcare, social services, or human services organization

Why JF&CS?

At JF&CS, technology is not the end goal. It is one of the ways we help our staff spend less time wrestling with systems and more time serving people. You will have the opportunity to work across the agency, solve meaningful problems, and improve systems that support thousands of individuals and families. You will join colleagues who care deeply about the mission, value thoughtful collaboration, and want technology to make the work better, clearer, and more sustainable.

What We Offer:

• Up to 20 days of paid time off (PTO) annually, prorated in the first year

• Paid holidays

• Comprehensive Health, Vision, and Dental insurance

• 401(k) with employer matching

• Paid parental leave

Candidates selected for employment must successfully complete a pre-employment background screening and drug screening. Employment is contingent upon satisfactory results for both. In addition, tuberculosis (TB) testing and fingerprinting may be required, as applicable.
