Jewish Community Services (JCS) is seeking a compassionate and motivated part-time Supported Employment Specialist to provide individualized employment supports to adults and transition-age youth with developmental disabilities, behavioral health conditions, and other qualifying disabilities. This position helps individuals explore careers, secure competitive employment, develop workplace skills, and maintain long-term employment success.This is a community-based, hybrid position that combines direct client support, employer engagement, job coaching, and service coordination. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping individuals achieve meaningful employment and greater independence. Primary Responsibilities Manage a caseload of individuals receiving supported employment servicesAssist clients with career exploration, vocational assessment, and employment goal developmentProvide job readiness training, including resume development, applications, interviewing, workplace communication, and professional skillsConduct job development and employer outreach to identify competitive integrated employment opportunitiesBuild and maintain relationships with employers and community partnersSupport clients through the hiring, onboarding, and job retention processProvide individualized job coaching at community employment sitesAssist with workplace accommodations, natural support development, and job stabilization strategiesAttend Person-Centered Plan (PCP), DORS, treatment team, and service coordination meetings as neededCoordinate services with families, employers, service providers, counselors, and community partnersMaintain accurate and timely documentation, service notes, billing records, and employment outcome dataEnsure services are delivered in accordance with DDA, DORS, BHA, Medicaid, and JCS requirements Qualifications & Experience High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Rehabilitation Counseling, Education, or a related field preferredExperience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, behavioral health conditions, or other disabilities preferredExperience in supported employment, vocational rehabilitation, workforce development, case management, or community-based services strongly preferredKnowledge of person-centered planning, job development, job coaching, and employment support servicesStrong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skillsAbility to work independently while managing multiple prioritiesProficient with Microsoft Office, email, and electronic documentation systemsValid driver's license, reliable transportation, acceptable driving record, and proof of auto insurance requiredAbility to travel throughout Baltimore City, Baltimore County, and surrounding areas Schedule: Flexible schedule; 20 hours/week Hourly Rate: $24.00-$26.00/hour Why JCS?At JCS, you’ll be part of a supportive team doing meaningful work that makes a real impact in the community.
