Jewish Community Services (JCS) is seeking an experienced and mission-driven Residential Program Lead to oversee operations within our Disabilities Services program. This role plays a vital part in managing residential services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), with a strong focus on quality, compliance, and client-centered care. We are looking for a candidate with extensive experience in residential settings who understands the needs of DDA clients and their families and can lead staff with compassion, integrity, and accountability. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and support House Managers and Direct Support Professionals (DSPs); ensure adequate coverage while managing staffing costs.Oversee service delivery and ensure adherence to state and federal regulations, including DDA and COMAR guidelines. Conduct regular staff supervision, training, and performance evaluations to foster professional growth and accountability. Manage residential program budgets, including petty cash and grocery allowances.Build rapport with House Managers and Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) by establishing a consistent physical presence in assigned residential homes.Coordinate medical appointments, medication administration, and ensure all resident health and wellness needs are met. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and quality assurance systems to maintain high service standards.Participates in ongoing emergency and weekend coverage for assigned homes, providing timely guidance and support to DSPs working in residential homes outside of designated working hours. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor's degree in human services or a related field preferred Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory experience in residential settings serving individuals with developmental disabilities. In-depth understanding of DDA regulations, service planning, and behavioral supports. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with Jewish cultural, religious, or ethical values is a plus.
