Jewish Community Services (JCS) is seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychiatric Provider with an interest in serving child and adolescents to join our Outpatient Mental Health Clinic (OMHC). Key Responsibilities Clinical Care: Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments for children and adolescents (ages 5–18).Provide ongoing medication management, psychoeducation, and supportive therapy as needed.Collaborate with families, therapists, school personnel, and case managers to ensure coordinated and effective treatment planning.Monitor treatment efficacy and safety, making medication adjustments as clinically indicated.Maintain timely, accurate documentation using our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. Team Collaboration: Participate in case consultations with JCS’s multidisciplinary mental health team.Refer clients to higher levels of care, specialists, or community resources when necessary.Engage in care coordination with primary care providers, pediatricians, and other support systems. Compliance & Standards: Adhere to state and federal regulations, HIPAA, and ethical standards of psychiatric practice.Comply with OMHC and Behavioral Health Administration (BHA) guidelines and documentation requirements. Qualifications Required: Active, unrestricted license to practice in Maryland as: Psychiatrist (M.D. or D.O.) ORPsychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) DEA and CDS certification (or eligibility to obtain)Experience providing psychiatric care to children and adolescentsComfortable working in a hybrid model (telehealth and in-person)Strong documentation and EMR skills (CareLogic and DrFirst experience preferred)CPR certifiedSuccessful background check, drug screening, and license/degree verification Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance (if applicable for role) Preferred: 2+ years of post-licensure clinical experienceFamiliarity with CARF accreditation standards and BHA guidelinesPaneled (or eligible) with Medicaid and commercial insurance plans Why Join JCS?
