Job Coach (Part-Time) Jewish Community Services (JCS) is seeking a compassionate and energetic Job Coach to support individuals with varying abilities as they build independence, develop job readiness skills, and actively engage in their community. This part-time, community-based role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, flexibility, and making a meaningful impact outside of a traditional office setting.You will work one-on-one and in small groups with people we serve for approximately 20 hours per week while participating in a wide range of community activities. You will also support individuals in developing employment-related skills and accessing volunteer opportunities that align with their goals. Primary Responsibilities Provide direct support to individuals with a range of abilities and disability diagnosesWork with clients one-on-one or in small group settings within the communityDrive up to four individuals in your personal vehicle to activities, volunteer sites, and outingsSupport participation in community-based activities such as arts and crafts, games, fitness classes, movies, group discussions, library visits, and park outingsTeach and model job readiness skills including workplace communication, punctuality, interviewing, and task completionAssist individuals in accessing and succeeding in volunteer and work-based opportunitiesEncourage independence, self-advocacy, and social skill developmentProvide guidance on social and communication skillsFollow schedules and lesson plans while remaining flexible and adaptableMediate and resolve conflicts in group settings and model effective task performanceMaintain accurate progress notes and attendance records using JCS software or email within 24 hours of service delivery Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree preferred or currently enrolled in college High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferredPrior experience working with individuals with disabilities requiredPrior DDA (Developmental Disabilities Administration) experience or training preferredStrong communication skills and ability to relate to individuals with varying abilitiesComfortable using computers, software, and timekeeping systemsReliable transportation and willingness to use personal vehicle during work hoursAbility to demonstrate sensitivity to religious and cultural identitiesOrganized, flexible, and able to “go with the flow” in dynamic community settings Schedule & PaySchedule: Monday–Friday, between 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.Hourly Rate: $21.00/hr.
