JCRC serves as a trusted convener, connector, and advocate—bringing together diverse voices to act collectively and effectively on issues that matter most to Jewish communal life and society at large.

The Opportunity

JCRC is seeking a Director of Community Partnership, a newly created role designed to launch and execute a bold vision for a new era of Jewish communal engagement across Greater Boston. Positioned at the center of JCRC’s impact, this is a highly visible, relationship-driven role that works through our network of member agencies and partner organizational leaders.

The Director of Community Partnership will shape and implement a comprehensive engagement strategy that transforms the JCRC network into a dynamic engine for deep relationship‑building, cross‑organizational collaboration, and collective civic action. This leader will articulate a compelling, forward‑looking vision for partnership, clarify the value and purpose of network participation, and translate that vision into meaningful opportunities for leadership, influence, and measurable impact

Reports to: Chief Development Officer

About the Council

JCRC convenes organizational leaders and from across Greater Boston’s Jewish ecosystem in service to our civic space collective efforts. It strengthens trust, communication, and coordination across institutions; fosters collaboration across diverse Jewish identities and perspectives; and enables JCRC to represent a broad and credible range of communal voices in public affairs and civic life.

What You Will Do

Lead JCRC’s Community Partnership & Engagement Strategy

  • Develop and implement a strategic partnership and engagement plan that drives deeper, sustained participation among Council members and community leaders.
  • Define clear roles, leadership pathways, and value propositions for Council involvement—ensuring members understand how their engagement advances shared goals.
  • Build systems to track relationships, participation, and outcomes to support accountability, continuity, and measurable impact.

Activate Relationships & Strengthen Community Coordination

  • Serve as a trusted connector and convener across organizations, funders, professionals, and volunteer leaders—building trust and expanding opportunities for collaboration.
  • Partner closely with senior leadership and program teams to align member organization engagement with JCRC’s advocacy, community relations, and public affairs priorities.
  • Design and manage engagement pathways that connect leaders and volunteers to the right opportunities at the right time, deepening involvement and strengthening the leadership pipeline.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination among members during moments that require unified strategy, rapid response, or collective civic action.

Communications, Visibility & Ambassadorship

  • Lead a communications approach that clearly articulates the member’s value, impact, and relevance within the Jewish community and beyond.
  • Equip member organizations with messaging tools, talking points, and context to serve as informed ambassadors for JCRC’s mission, priorities, and public stance.
  • Contribute to broader brand awareness and thought leadership efforts by elevating JCRC’s role as a central hub for Jewish community partnership and civic engagement.

Signature Convenings & Leadership Moments

  • Plan and execute high-impact meetings of our members (through what is currently known as ‘the Council’) and convenings that foster connection, shared learning, and movement from dialogue to action.

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience managing complex, high-level relationships across organizations and stakeholders, with a strong track record of follow-through and results.
  • Deep familiarity with Jewish communal life, institutions, and dynamics, including the diversity of Jewish identities and experiences, Israel, antisemitism, and community relations work.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, strong judgment, and the ability to engage diverse perspectives with credibility and trust.
  • Outstanding communication skills, including facilitation, public speaking, and strategic messaging.
  • A strategic, highly organized leader who can move seamlessly from big-picture vision to detailed execution.
  • A deep commitment to JCRC’s mission and to strengthening Jewish civic participation, communal cohesion, and a more secure and inclusive society.

Compensation and Benefits

· Salary range: $85,000-$95,000, commensurate with experience.

· This job is hybrid: in office Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday required
