JCCGCI’s Older Adult Transportation Program offers individual car and ambulette rides to essential appointments, as well as group trips for recreation, shopping, and education, all supported by multilingual staff. By removing transportation barriers, we ensure thousands of older adults can safely access the services and community connections they need.
JCCGCI’s Older Adult Transportation Program is looking for a Call Center Representative to join the team. The ideal candidate will be patient, kind, and skilled at communicating clearly with elderly clients, including those with mobility or health challenges. They will handle scheduling and confirming rides, respond to client questions or changes with professionalism, and accurately maintain service logs.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist in processing transportation program trip requests, ensuring that client details, pick-up, and return times are accurately recorded.
- Respond to client calls regarding trip arrangements, providing information on pick-ups, returns, and any necessary changes.
- Notify clients of transportation service scheduling, updates, and any issues, ensuring all information is communicated clearly and promptly.
- Answer calls and respond to client inquiries regarding scheduling, transportation services, or other related information.
- Assist clients in addressing changes, cancellations, or problems with their scheduled transportation services.
- Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring all client concerns are addressed in a professional and efficient manner.
- Prepare service schedules and logs for transportation services, ensuring they are accurate and up to date.
- Assist in notifying clients of schedule changes and confirming their transportation details as necessary.
- Perform clerical tasks, including typing documents (using a word processor), preparing mailings, and organizing office materials.
- Assist in the office reception duties, greeting clients, answering phone calls, and directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
Qualifications:
- High school education or higher
- Excellent written, communicative and interpersonal skills
- Accurate data-entry and typing skills
- Prior social-service experience preferred
This is an on-site, Full-Time position; 35 hours per week
