Kitchen Assistant, B'nai Jehudah Child Development Center

The Kitchen Assistant prepares nutritious snacks and lunches for preschool students.
Essential Functions
- Counting, sorting and portioning snacks and lunch items for preschool students (no cooking required)
- Delivering food to preschool classrooms
- General kitchen cleaning, dishwashing and organization
- Process and organize weekly food deliveries
Schedule
This part time position is typically scheduled to work Monday through Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

- Willing to learn to use basic kitchen equipment

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for at least duration of shift
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds for short distances and up to 35 pounds on occasion
- Dexterity to type, serve, cut, lift, write and use hands and legs to complete the tasks of the position
