Description

Personal Trainers at The J provide exercise, nutritional guidance and training to our members. Promote, sell and conduct personal training for individual, and tandem training. Design safe, effective workouts that will assist in achieving the client’s fitness goals.

Schedule

Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule that may include early mornings, evenings and weekends.

Essential Functions

  • Provide exercise and nutritional guidance and training to our members
  • Conduct individual or tandem 30 and 60 minute Personal Training Sessions
  • Attend monthly personal training meetings and weekly 1 on 1 with supervisor
  • Keep schedule and Biz Plan updated daily
  • Correctly track and redeem client sessions daily - knowing when in last week of sessions
  • Re-sign and sell correct packages
  • Prospecting
  • Respond daily to management messages via Teams, texts and emails
  • Keep up to date on industry and attend Education Sessions as well as utilize ClubConnect for further education
Requirements
  • Certified Personal Trainer / Company sales
  • Computer Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current CPR, AED and First Aid certification
  • Exercise Science degree preferred but not required
  • Enthusiastic, friendly, positive demeanor
  • Outgoing and results-oriented with a commitment to team success
  • Ability to develop, motivate and coach clientele
  • Creative / Organized
  • Provide outstanding customer service

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and return weights to the storage racks (0-50 lbs)
  • Ability to stand and move around freely.
