This individual will work closely with our Content Strategist to produce engaging social media posts that will include shooting videos and photos, creating graphic assets, and writing clever copy, all in support of the JCC and Gordon Center brands.This individual will also support the rest of the marketing team with tasks that include: website updates, email marketing, media calendar postings, Google Analytics reporting, Salesforce integration, and more.Please include a cover letter describing why you have an interest in this position and in working at the JCC.WHAT YOU WILL DO:Social Media & Content Creation Assist with researching, writing, and editing content for social media posts.Support the planning, scheduling, and publishing of social media content across all platforms.Create engaging social media graphics using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.Capture photos and short-form video content at programs and events.Edit short videos for social media and other digital marketing channels.Create and manage Facebook event pages to support program promotion. Marketing & Communications Support Format and distribute email marketing campaigns using existing templates.Post events to community calendars and media event listings.Assist with promotional initiatives.Gather marketing assets and coordinate requests from internal departments and external partners. Website & Digital Marketing Perform routine website content updates in WordPress.Upload content to digital marketing displays and in-house marketing screens.Organize and maintain digital assets using Dropbox.Pull and compile marketing performance reports, including: Social media analytics (Sprout Social)Website analytics (Google Analytics)Email marketing metrics (Brevo)Member and patron data (Salesforce) Administrative & General Support Coordinate and manage in-house print requests.Provide administrative support for a variety of marketing projects and initiatives.Follow up with internal stakeholders, partners, and clients to ensure projects remain on schedule and deadlines are met. WHO YOU ARE:Must Have: Proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, collaborative, and customer-focused approach.Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and software.Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Experience with basic photography and short-form videography.Hands-on experience with basic design tools (such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite), and email marketing platforms (such as Brevo, Campaign Monitor, etc.). Nice to Have: Interest in growing skills in video production and editing.Experience with WordPress CMS.Familiarity with Salesforce CRM.Experience using Google Analytics to monitor and report on website performance.Knowledge of email automation and customer journey workflows. Physical Requirements & Work Environment: This is a hybrid position. The Marketing Coordinator is expected to work from our Owings Mills office at least three days per week, with the option to work remotely on approved days.Occasional evening and weekend hours are required to support organizational events, programs, and marketing initiatives.While performing the duties of this position, the employee will regularly sit for extended periods and use a computer, laptop, and telephone.The employee may occasionally be required to stand, walk, bend, and lift or move materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
