The Jewish Community Board of Akron (JCBA) is a volunteer association of concerned and committed people that exists for the purpose of preserving, enhancing and perpetuating the Jewish way of life. It is affiliated with the Jewish Federations of North America. Along with the various programs and services the JCBA provides to the Akron-area Jewish community, it holds the Annual Campaign. This campaign provides funds for two agencies under the JCBA umbrella: the Shaw Jewish Community Center of Akron and The Lippman School. It also provides monies to many other local, national and international Jewish programs and agencies.
