Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and passionate Youth ACT (Assertive Community Treatment) Director to lead our innovative youth mental health program. This vital role involves managing program operations, developing comprehensive services for young people with behavioral health needs, and building strong relationships with community partners. The Youth ACT Director will inspire a team of dedicated professionals to deliver high-quality, person-centered care that promotes independence and resilience among youth.
Duties
- Lead the planning, development, and implementation of the Youth ACT program to ensure it meets community needs and organizational standards
- Supervise and support staff, including clinicians and case managers, fostering a collaborative team environment
- Manage program budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure compliance with funding requirements
- Build and maintain positive relationships with community agencies, schools, families, and other stakeholders to promote program success
- Oversee clinical service delivery, ensuring interventions are effective and tailored to individual youth needs
- Coordinate intake assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing case management activities
- Monitor program outcomes through data collection and reporting to continuously improve service quality
Requirements
- Proven management experience in behavioral health or social services programs, preferably working with youth with developmental disabilities or mental health challenges
- Strong background in program development, implementation, and evaluation
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with diverse populations including youth, families, community partners, and funders
- Excellent administrative skills with experience in budgeting and compliance monitoring
- Supervisory experience leading multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced environments
- Knowledge of social work principles, behavioral health practices, and trauma-informed care approaches
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a positive team atmosphere
