Program Overview

JCCA’s Brooklyn-based Child Welfare Preventive Services provide families with the support, tools, and care they need to stay safely together. Our programs include:

  • Family Treatment/Rehabilitation (FT/R): Intensive support for families navigating substance use, domestic violence, mental health challenges, and other complex needs.
  • Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP): A trauma-informed, evidence-based treatment model for children ages 0–5 and their caregivers to strengthen attachment and support healing.
  • Solution-Based Casework (SBC): A collaborative, strengths-focused approach that empowers families to build safety, stability, and long-term well-being.

Together, these programs create a comprehensive continuum of care aimed at preventing foster care placement and uplifting Brooklyn families.
