Position Summary:
JCCA (Jewish Child Care Association) is a premier child and family services organization with a 200-year legacy of delivering high-quality, life-changing support to over 17,000 of New York’s most vulnerable children and families each year.
We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Program Supervisor to lead a dedicated team in our Medically Fragile Program, which provides critical support to youth in foster care with complex medical needs.
The Program Supervisor will play a key leadership role in a specialized program that ensures medically fragile children in foster care receive comprehensive, individualized support. They will supervise a team of Case Planners and Socio-Therapists, overseeing case progress, ensuring service quality, and guiding families toward permanency and stability.
This role is ideal for a strong case planning leader, with a deep understanding of child welfare systems, and a passion for serving children with complex health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, coach, and develop a team of Case Planners and Socio-Therapists.
- Oversee individual treatment plans, ensure appropriate placements, and monitor ongoing service needs.
- Review FASPs, progress notes, court reports, and other documentation for quality and timely submission.
- Provide regular group and individual supervision to address case challenges and ensure compliance with ACS standards.
- Lead weekly case conferences and contribute to program quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure timely submission of all required documentation to ACS and other oversight bodies.
- Provide case coverage as needed during staff vacancies or PTO.
- Participate in administrative coverage rotations during evenings and weekends.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage & Family Therapy (NYS licensure preferred).
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience overseeing case management or clinical teams.
- Experience in child welfare, particularly in foster care or community-based services, strongly preferred.
- Strong time management, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while providing calm, confident leadership.
- Commitment to trauma-informed, culturally competent, and family-centered practice.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with client and teams that are culturally and professionally diverse
Salary: $67K -$80K
