Position Summary:

The ITM Coach shall carry out tasks to facilitate the successful implementation, training and integration of the Integrated Treatment Model (ITM) throughout the Pleasantville Cottage School residential program. Assisting with program development, project management and training of staff are major responsibilities of the ITM Coach. The ITM Coach shall work closely with program leadership to assure model fidelity and integration. The position requires availability for evening and weekend hours and work on the residential campus.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide ongoing support, assistance and education to crossover youth and their resources while on campus and during the transition to the community
  • Coordinate communication between the identified crossover youth’s team in effort to assist with, and monitor his/her progress in incorporating the ITM skills into their lives
  • Assist in running groups, skills coaching in the milieu and reinforcing ITM skills in all milieu environments in all programs
  • Effectively schedules self to carry out work during traditional and non-traditional work hours including some evening and weekends to provide role modeling to all staff
  • Provide ongoing training of ITM to new staff as well as refresher
  • Develop and provide ongoing monitoring of ITM in every milieu through ITM Environmental Adherence, milieu observation and group observation
  • Attend and participate in all mandatory program and agency meetings
  • Assists with program development, document review, preparation for implementation of the integrated treatment model throughout the assigned JCCA program
  • Develop expertise in ITM (MI AND DBT) through attending internal and external trainings
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in human services, education or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience working within a residential setting, foster care or child welfare agency
  • Knowledge of Dialectical Behavior Therapy preferred
  • Experience in running of groups, skill-building and/or coaching youth preferred
  • Excellent written and communication skills, required
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, required
  • Bi-lingual-Spanish, ideal

Salary: $45K -$50K
