Clinician (UC)

Job Summary: Clinicians conduct mental health assessments for all UC in care as well as provide ongoing individual and group counseling, screening for human trafficking concerns, and crisis intervention. Clinicians also work in partnership with the Case Manager to ensure that the daily needs of the UC youth are met and are responsible to assist with program development.
Essential Job Functions:
· Provide weekly individual therapy to UC assigned
· Provide Weekly group therapy to UC assigned
· Complete and submit clinical notes for assigned cases
· Make ongoing clinical assessment of needs of UC's assigned
· Complete portions of ISP (Individual Service Plan) and Case Reviews
· Accompany youth to immigration court and facilitate meetings with Immigration Attorney as needed
· Collaborate with staff in creating and facilitating recreational activities
· Provide on Call Support as required or scheduled
· Assist Case Manager in search and work with identified sponsors
· Participate in monthly and quarterly staffing meeting with Federal Staff and Case Coordinating team.
- Assist UC program wherever needed
Knowledge, Education and Skills Required:
· LMSW, LCSW preferred
· Experience working with children and families or unaccompanied minors, clinical work with minors, knowledge of trauma and its implications.
· Ability to work independently and also in a team setting.
· Bi-lingual (English and Spanish)
Salary Range: $56,000 - $63,000
