We are currently seeking a Casual Rehab Office Coordinator to join our Outpatient Rehabilitation team at our JCC location. If you thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment, enjoy helping people, and have a talent for organization and customer service, we'd love to meet you.

Position Summary

The Rehab Office Coordinator serves as the welcoming face and organizational hub of our Outpatient Rehabilitation Department. In this role, you will ensure a positive patient experience while supporting the efficient daily operations of the department. From scheduling appointments and registering new patients to coordinating transportation and managing administrative functions, you will play an essential role in helping our patients receive the care they need.

What You'll Do

  • Schedule patient appointments and maintain therapy schedules
  • Register new patients and accurately enter demographic information into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
  • Verify insurance coverage, payer sources, and billing information
  • Serve as a courteous and professional first point of contact for patients, families, and visitors
  • Answer phone calls and manage front-office communications
  • Coordinate transportation arrangements, including van services and transport assistance
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and departmental correspondence
  • Maintain accurate records and support documentation requirements
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to ensure smooth departmental operations
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned
