Help nourish body and soul as a Dietary Aide/Food Service Worker in our Personal Care Community. At the JAA we focus on providing the highest quality of care to our consumers as well as to our employees; we are a smaller company offering great work/life balance. We are looking for food and nutrition associates to join our team at either our main campus location (200 JHF Drive) or at our personal care community in the heart of Squirell Hill.

*Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assists with preparation of items needed for catering.
  • Acts as wait staff in the dining room taking resident meal orders and serving the meal.
  • Prepares leftover food for proper storage labeled with description of food and date.
  • Responsible for participating in and supporting the resident centered programs.

Required Education, Training and Experience:

  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Must be capable of communicating with supervisors, staff, residents and families in an appropriate and professional manner.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as standing, reaching, turning, bending, lifting, pulling, pushing and kneeling.
  • Must be able to carry or lift items that weigh up to 50 pounds as assigned.
  • Manage exposure to chemicals and cleaning solutions.
  • Must be able to work cooperatively with every staff member.
