JCC Rochester
ABOUT THE JCC OF GREATER ROCHESTER
The JCC of Greater Rochester is a mission-driven community organization rooted in Jewish values and open to individuals and families of all backgrounds. The JCC serves as a center for connection, learning, wellness, and belonging, advancing Jewish life while strengthening the broader community through inclusive programs and services.
Our work is guided by core Jewish values, including Kehillah (community), Kavod (respect and dignity), Hachnasat Orchim (welcoming and belonging), Shmirat HaGuf (care for the body and well-being), and Chesed (compassion). These values inform how we care for people, steward resources, and create physical spaces that are safe, welcoming, and reflective of our mission.
The JCC Wolk Children’s Center is a premier childcare community that instills the skills of collaboration, community, critical thinking and creativity by creating a safe and nurturing environment that understands children are constructivist learners and learn by play and social interaction with their friends. We follow the Creative Curriculum which provides a research based and field proven approach to learning for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
