Day camp General Counselors supervise campers, ensure safety and development, maintain schedules, and build a positive, values-based community. Must be at least 15 by June 8, 2026; attend Staff Orientation (June 8–12, 2026) or complete pre-camp training. Responsibilities include active supervision across all activities, fostering inclusion, communicating with Unit Coordinator, enforcing safety, and modeling positive behavior. Compensation ranges from $7.25/hour (Level 1) to $13/hour (Level 5). Perks include free JCC membership, guest passes, daily lunch/snacks, apparel, and staff appreciation. Clearances and mandated reporter training required.
