Camp StarQuest and Camp StarPower Counselor

Are you passionate about performing arts and love working with kids? Join the Camp StarQuest or Camp StarPower team as a General Counselor and make an impact this summer!

Responsibilities:

• Assist with and implement core and non-core camp activities in various group settings.
• Lead large and small group recreational activities as needed.
• Support Specialty Theater Staff with hands-on tasks, embodying a collaborative, can-do attitude.
• Ensure the safety, well-being, and happiness of assigned campers.
• Address and manage camper behavior promptly and appropriately.
• Serve as a positive role model, fostering enthusiasm, teamwork, fairness, and fun.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Experience or strong passion for performing arts (theater, dance, voice, etc.).
• Previous experience working with children or a genuine desire to engage with kids.
• Enthusiastic, dependable, caring, and team-oriented personality.

Schedule:

• Camp StarQuest: June 8 – July 3, 2026. M-F, 8:30 – 4:30 with the exception of July 1st will be a late night due to our final performance.
• Camp StarPower: July 6 – 17, 2026. M-F, 8:30 – 4:30.
• Orientation June 3 – 5, 2026
• Option to be available for just one of the camp experiences, or both. Incentivized pay to do both.
