The Early Childhood Department at the JCC MetroWest in West Orange, NJ is searching for a Bridge to Kindergarten (B2K) Lead Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. The position can be either Full-Time or Part-Time (until 3:00pm Monday-Friday). We have an impressive facility, supportive community, and a teamwork-oriented staff. This position is an opportunity to grow as an early childhood professional through on-going professional development and with supportive leadership. Minimum Qualifications:
The ideal candidates will understand developmental milestones, be nurturing, patient, reliable and joyful. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and co-workers.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Education required.
• Pre-K or Kindergarten teaching experience required.
• Salaries are commensurate with credentials; range is $25 to $27 per hour.
