Principal Responsibilities:

Position Summary

The Program Director serves as the onsite supervisor of the DYCD COMPASS Elementary program with overall responsibility for program implementation, including the hiring, supervision, and development of program staff. The Program Director ensures the program operates in full compliance with DYCD, SACC, and H.E.S. standards and serves as the primary liaison between the program, the host school, families, and DYCD.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite supervision and oversight of all COMPASS program operations during program hours
  • Hire, onboard, supervise, and evaluate program staff in accordance with DYCD staffing requirements
  • Ensure DYCD required staff-to-student ratios are maintained at all times, including during activities, transitions, arrival, and dismissal (Grades K-5: 1:10)
  • Oversee program compliance with the SACC license, health and safety protocols, and all contractual obligations
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the host school, families, DYCD Program Manager, and community partners
  • Support the planning and delivery of high-quality enrichment, academic, and recreational activities? Ensure staff complete required professional development hours (COMPASS Elementary: 129 hours per year)
  • Hold regular team meetings and attend DYCD lead sessions

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • 1 year of Supervisor experience
  • Full-time position
  • Monday through Friday from 10:00AM - 6:00PM
  • Holiday Programming
  • Must be onsite during all program hours

Salary:

$70000
