Principal Responsibilities:
The Housekeeping / Maintenance Worker is responsible for completing all duties assigned to insure
a safe, clean, and orderly environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance of facilities, including indoor pool and hot tub.
- Clean, vacuum, and backwash pools; inspect filters, pumps, heaters, and circulation systems.
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues related to pool and spa equipment; perform minor repairs or coordinate outside service as needed.
- Maintain pool decks, locker rooms, and surrounding areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
- Conduct regular safety checks and ensure compliance with local and state pool codes.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations.
- Perform general facility maintenance tasks including minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting work.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance logs in an organized manner.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with management regarding maintenance needs and repairs.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This position is full time, 40+ hours per week.

Minimum Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications / Skills:
? Prior experience in pool and spa maintenance
- Knowledge of pool mechanical systems and water chemistry
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
? Ensure that the inside and outside of the building is clean and functioning.
? Empties trash receptacles, separates trash and cardboard into designated dumpsters.
? Washes windows, screens, sills, woodwork, doors, desks, walls, ceilings, etc.
? Sweep and mop hallways, vacuum carpets, clean and sanitize bathroom and locker rooms.
? Use manual and power tools to do minor repairs such as fixing leaky faucets or changing bulbs.
? Shovel snow, clear and salt walkways.
? Keep parking lot safe, including but not limited to picking up trash.
? Cleans, sweeps, mops, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors by hand or machine; cleans carpet, upholstery furniture, etc.
? Open / Secure facilities before or after operating hours by locking doors, closing windows and setting up the alarm.
? Set up and break down tables, chairs and other equipment requested for use by various groups.
? Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time.
Required Education and Experience
High School diploma
Some experience in the maintenance or facilities area is needed
Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of housekeeping / maintenance related procedures, machinery and equipment
Experience performing routine housekeeping / maintenance
Strong organizational and follow up skills
Eye for details

Salary:
$35,000 - $45,000
