Principal Responsibilities:

About the Role

We're looking for a creative, strategic, and hands-on digital storyteller to manage our website, social media, and content channels. In this role, you'll bring our mission to life through engaging content, real-time storytelling, and meaningful community connection.

This is a highly collaborative, fast-paced role for someone who enjoys both creating content in the moment and shaping a broader digital strategy.

Salary Range: $45,000-$55,000

What You'll Do

  • Capture photo and video content at programs, events, and community moments
  • Create and publish engaging content across social media platforms
  • Write and edit compelling copy for web, social, and campaigns
  • Manage and update website content for accuracy and user experience
  • Develop and maintain a digital content calendar
  • Organize and manage a library of digital assets (photos, videos, graphics)
  • Engage with audiences across social channels
  • Track performance and use insights to improve content and strategy
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support program promotion
  • Stay agile and responsive to real-time communication needs

Minimum Qualifications:

What You Bring

  • 3-5+ years of experience in digital content, social media, or website management
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
  • Experience capturing or creating photo and video content
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress or similar)
  • Experience with social media platforms and analytics tools
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong familiarity with Jewish culture, traditions, and values, and a solid understanding of Israel and the global Jewish community

  • Experience in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization
  • A strong visual eye and attention to detail
  • Basic photo/video editing skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe, or mobile tools)
  • Ability to create content that is culturally informed, timely, and aligned with community context

Salary:

$45,000 - $55,000
