Principal Responsibilities:

We are seeking a dynamic and responsible Preschool Assistant Teacher who supports the Lead Teacher in creating a warm, safe, and engaging classroom environment for young children. Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, at a rate of $16/hour.

Minimum Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily classroom routines, including arrival, transitions, meals, rest time, and dismissal
  • Supervise children to ensure safety and maintain appropriate staff-to-child ratios at all times
  • Support the implementation of age-appropriate activities and learning experiences
  • Help foster a warm, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
  • Collaborate with the Lead Teacher and teaching team
  • Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and overall readiness

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with young children preferred
  • Warm, patient, and nurturing approach
  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills
