Agency Information:
Surprise Lake Camp is one of the oldest Jewish Children's Camps in the United States. Since 1902, Surprise Lake Camp has provided a haven for children in the beautiful mountains of Cold Spring, NY. What makes SLC the best is the beauty of the site, the richness of the people and the program, the sense of history and tradition, and the magic we create when the whole thing comes together. We blend a commitment to traditional, rustic camp experiences with state-of-the-art recreational facilities and are particularly proud of our open, inclusive community that is sensitive to the needs of interfaith and diverse families.
Over 8 weeks each summer, nestled in a valley between two mountains and around a lake, we host over 600 campers and staff who come from all over the world. We have a very strong alumni base and many of our campers are the children and grandchildren of former campers.
Surprise Lake Camp is looking for an Advancement/Development Director who will help usher camp into the next generation.
