Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive salary up to $90,000, commensurate with experience.
  • Generous PTO including 30 days plus Jewish and federal holidays.
  • Flexible hybrid schedule: September-March (two WFH days per week), April-August (onsite as needed during the camp season).

Minimum Qualifications:

Leadership and Strategy

  • Own the camp program, ensuring alignment with mission, vision, and values.
  • Champion innovative programming across preschool to high school age groups.
  • Serve as the outward-facing leader, energizing campers, families, staff, and the wider community.

Camp Management

  • Oversee the administration and coordination of all camp functions, including travel programs, special events, and year-round programming.
  • Manage inspections, licensing, ACA accreditation, and compliance with county, state, and federal regulations.
  • Develop and manage the camp budget with transparency and fiscal responsibility.

Camper Recruitment

  • Develop and execute strategies to increase camper enrollment and strengthen year-round community engagement.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for parents, addressing concerns, providing proactive communication, and building lasting relationships.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Director to produce promotional and digital marketing materials.

Staff Supervision and Development

  • Recruit, hire, train, and supervise seasonal staff and leadership team members.
  • Plan and facilitate staff training, development, and parent orientation programs.
  • Foster an inclusive, welcoming environment where every participant is treated with dignity and respect.

Community Engagement

  • Design and lead recruitment events, open houses, and outreach efforts in the local community.
  • Partner with the Executive Director on fundraising initiatives and agency presentations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a day camp or youth program setting.
  • Demonstrated success in program development, camper and staff recruitment, and operations management.
  • Strong budgeting and fiscal management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities.
  • Organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of Jewish culture and traditions; prior experience in Jewish programming preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite; experience with CRMs and Campsite software a plus.
  • Sense of humor and willingness to get involved!

Salary:

$75,000 - $85,000
