Position Overview

Reporting to the Senior Business Systems Operations Manager, the Business Systems & Salesforce Manager is a strategic partner responsible for optimizing itrek’s technology ecosystem to drive growth and efficiency. You will own the operational health of our core platforms, lead the organization’s AI and automation strategy, and translate complex business needs into scalable technical solutions. The ideal candidate combines deep Salesforce expertise with an "automation-first" mindset, a passion for process improvement, and the ability to bridge the gap between technical infrastructure and organizational mission.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary Salesforce administrator: Own system configuration, security, automation, data integrity, and ongoing platform maintenance.
  • Own the organizational tech stack: Manage the operational health, integration, and lifecycle (including licensing and governance) of Salesforce, Monday.com, FormAssembly, Google Workspace, and other key business platforms.
  • Drive digital transformation & AI strategy: Lead the implementation of AI-driven tools, automation, and system enhancements to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Act as a strategic technology partner: Advise leadership on tech investments and collaborate with departments to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
  • Manage technical projects & vendors: Oversee the full project lifecycle—from requirements gathering to implementation—while serving as the primary liaison for third-party consultants and vendors.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and knowledge sharing: Establish governance frameworks, manage user access, maintain documentation, and lead training initiatives to ensure reliable system performance, operational consistency, and widespread user adoption.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of hands-on Salesforce Administrator experience required, including system configuration, security, reporting, automation, and user management.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze business processes, gather business requirements, and translate organizational needs into scalable technology solutions.
  • Experience administering business systems, managing integrations between platforms, and leading cross-functional technology projects from requirements gathering through implementation.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and managing AI-powered automations (e.g., via Make.com, Zapier, or native AI platform integrations).
  • Experience with large language model (LLM) implementation, prompt engineering, or AI tool administration in a business context.
  • Experience developing reports, dashboards, automations, documentation, and training materials for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP).
  • Experience administering FormAssembly, including Salesforce Connectors (prefill and post-submission), HTTP Connectors, and basic CSS customization.
  • Experience administering Google Workspace.
  • Experience designing and maintaining Monday.com automations.
  • Experience with Make.com or similar integration and workflow automation platforms.
  • Experience managing third-party technology vendors and consultants.
