Graduate Program Manager
itrek
itrek launched in 2011 with a mission to empower leaders to engage their networks in meaningful Israel experiences, fostering an understanding and appreciation of Israel’s unique culture, diversity, richness and complex reality. More than 25,000 graduate students representing 130 nationalities from schools in the U.S., Canada and Europe have traveled to Israel through itrek. Over the last two years, itrek has expanded beyond graduate school students by piloting Launchpad, a program that connects with mission aligned leaders and organizations to create Israel Treks for their influential peers and members.
REALITY, now a key part of itrek, has led more than 3,000 influential leaders from diverse backgrounds and sectors—entertainment, policy, social innovation, technology, and more—on life-changing journeys to Israel over the past 15 years. Together, we inspire participants to deepen their leadership skills, build meaningful peer connections, and develop a nuanced understanding of Israel and the region.
What You’ll Do
You’ll be the point person for a portfolio of graduate student leaders (we call them itrek Leaders) from top business, law, and policy programs. Your job? Help them plan and execute unforgettable Israel Treks. You’ll coach and support them every step of the way — from recruiting their peers and designing the itinerary to running pre-Israel Trek events and following up after wheels-up. You’ll be part project manager, part leadership coach, part Israel content nerd, and part logistics wizard — someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, builds great relationships, and keeps the trains running on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit and Onboard Leaders
Identify high-potential graduate students ready to lead an Israel Trek. Get them excited about the program and guide them through onboarding, training, and preparation.
- Coach Leaders Through the Full Israel Trek Lifecycle
Serve as their go-to partner for recruitment strategy, itinerary design, budgeting, Tour Operator coordination, and execution. Ensure every Israel Trek delivers educational impact, logistical excellence, and lasting value.
- Build Relationships
Foster strong, trusting relationships with Leaders through regular touchpoints (virtual + in-person). Represent itrek on campus and in Israel, sometimes traveling to support Israel Treks on the ground.
- Ensure Program Quality + Content Alignment
Help Leaders create meaningful and balanced programs, supported by our curated speakers and Israel-based content resources. Offer feedback and make sure each Israel Trek reflects itrek’s educational and experiential goals.
- Track, Evaluate, and Improve
Use tools like Salesforce and surveys to track KPIs, gather feedback, and drive continuous improvement. Support the transition of participants into our growing alumni network.
- Collaborate Cross-Team
Support broader programming initiatives, leader development, and new projects that move our mission forward.
