To continue this momentum, we are seeking a dynamic fundraiser to help power our mission through vision, relationships, and results.

Position Overview:

To lead and support strategic fundraising efforts in partnership with regional leadership to achieve South Florida’s annual fundraising goals. This role is responsible for planning and executing successful fundraising initiatives to meet or exceed fundraising targets. The position will strengthen community engagement, maximize regional resources, effectively communicate organizational impact, and ensure all fundraising activities align with established regional priorities. The Development Manager reports to the South Florida Regional Director.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Rimon Club Leadership

  • Grow and strengthen Rimon Membership in South Florida, expanding its social capital and influence.
  • Manage the full membership lifecycle: identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
  • Plan and execute high-level Rimon events and experiences throughout the year, including the National Summit.
  • Partner with regional and national leadership to develop impactful content and engagement strategies.
  • Maintain accurate donor and member records in HubSpot.
  • Collaborate nationally to expand and strengthen the Rimon network.
  • Support Annual Gala strategy and donor development efforts.

Corporate Sponsorship Development

  • Build and execute a strategic corporate sponsorship plan with measurable outcomes.
  • Identify, research, and pursue potential corporate partners.
  • Develop persuasive sponsorship proposals and customized partnership opportunities.
  • Manage relationships and negotiate agreements with corporate stakeholders.

Fundraising Strategy & Implementation

  • Design and execute a fundraising plan to meet and exceed regional goals.
  • Cultivate, solicit, and steward individual, corporate, and foundation donors.
  • Partner with the Regional Director and Council to identify opportunities for engagement.
  • Serve as the South Florida regional point person for all development initiatives.

Donor Relations & Stewardship

  • Build deep relationships with donors through personalized outreach and ongoing engagement.
  • Manage donor communications (letters, calls, social media, impact reports, events) to keep supporters inspired and informed.
  • Organize donor appreciation and cultivation events that celebrate community impact.
  • Manage CRM systems to track donor data, giving trends, and engagement opportunities.

Campaigns & Community Engagement

  • Run local and digital fundraising campaigns, leveraging storytelling, community connections, and online tools.
  • Identify and pursue grant opportunities from local foundations and philanthropic partners.
  • Strengthen partnerships between the Israeli-American and broader Jewish communities in South Florida.
  • Collaborate on marketing and social initiatives to highlight the IAC’s mission and successes.

Collaboration & Teamwork

  • Join staff meetings, training, and events for professional development and team cohesion.
  • Serve as a local ambassador for IAC’s values and programs.

Skills & Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Strong understanding of and connection to both Israeli and American target audiences, with experience engaging diverse community stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in community building and relationship development.
  • Experience in researching and identifying major new funding prospects.
  • Full professional proficiency in English, including strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent conversational Hebrew is required
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing needs.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills; ability to prioritize, manage time efficiently in a fast-paced work environment and remain flexible
  • Flexible and available to work evenings and weekends as required for regional programs, events, and seminars.
  • Experience in the Israeli and/or Jewish nonprofit sector is an advantage.
  • Professional demeanor with sound judgment, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Proactive, energetic, and positive team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media/networking platforms.
  • Experience working with CRM systems and databases.
  • Discreet.
