About the IAC (Israeli-American Council):

The mission of the IAC is to build an engaged and united Israeli-American community that strengthens: the Israeli and Jewish identity of our next generations, the American Jewish community and the bond between the peoples of the United States and the State of Israel.

Job Purpose:

The IAC is seeking a passionate and dynamic Programs Facilitator to inspire, guide, and engage participants across a range of IAC programs. This role is ideal for someone who loves working with people, bringing content to life, and building meaningful community experiences. This is a 15-hour-per-week position, and the IAC Programs facilitator will report to the IAC Bay Area Regional Director.

Duties include and are not limited to:

  • Lead high-quality content delivery and implementation of IAC programs, sessions, and related IAC-led community events.
  • Facilitate all program sessions, including tracking attendance and preparing post-session summaries.
  • Coordinate with guest speakers, experts, and mentors, including preparation and logistical support.
  • Assign and send follow-up tasks or materials to participants after each session.
  • Collect and submit session reviews, feedback, and evaluations to the relevant program leadership and/or National Director.
  • Participate in required IAC national and regional events, staff meetings, and trainings.
  • Work closely with the regional team to ensure successful program planning, execution, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain consistent communication with participants and parents, as appropriate.
  • Represent the IAC in a professional, positive, and value-driven manner.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Creative, Energetic and Proactive.
  • Strong connection to both Israeli and American identities.
  • Strong social skills and experience working with teens.
  • Flexible hours - work in the evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office suite products and social networking tools.
  • Highly efficient and organized.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Good operational & administrative management.
  • Fluent spoken Hebrew is required; reading and writing proficiency is a plus.
  • Fluent in English - full comprehension, speaking, writing, and reading.

**Full-time employees working 20 plus hours per week shall be eligible for insurance benefits (medical, dental, vision, & life) following the new hire waiting period.
