who thrives at imadi

We are looking for a hard worker who lives our values:

(1) Excellence: You uphold the highest standards of care, professionalism, and accountability in every aspect of your work. You conduct thoughtful, comprehensive intake assessments and develop individualized support plans tailored to each family’s medical, emotional, and practical needs. You maintain clear and accurate documentation of client interactions and services, ensuring continuity of care and organizational excellence. In every interaction—with families, volunteers, and partners—you represent imadi with warmth, integrity, and professionalism.
(2) Creativity: You approach each family’s situation with flexibility, empathy, and innovative thinking, recognizing that no two journeys are the same. Rather than simply following a script, you think expansively about what case management could be— and then work to make it happen. You identify creative, practical solutions that help families navigate the complex challenges associated with a child’s medical condition. By connecting families to both traditional and nontraditional resources, you help strengthen their network of support and open doors to possibilities they may not have known existed.
(3) Empowerment: You equip families with the tools, information, and confidence they need to navigate their journey with clarity and strength. Through thoughtful case management and steady advocacy, you help families understand their options, access the right resources, and make informed decisions that support their child and the well-being of the entire family.
(4) Community: You ensure that every family feels supported and seen throughout their experience, approaching each relationship with empathy, consistency, and care. You build meaningful, trusting connections with families through regular engagement and thoughtful follow-up, while also strengthening the broader network of support around them. By cultivating relationships with schools, community organizations, and healthcare providers, you help create pathways to resources and collaboration. Through these efforts, you play a key role in expanding imadi’s presence, partnerships, and impact throughout the D.C. and Greater Washington region.
