HIAS is a Jewish non-profit organization engaged in protecting refugees who have been forced to flee their homelands because of ethnic, religious, and sexual disputes. The organization’s mission is to protect the most vulnerable refugees helping them build new lives and reuniting them with their families in safety and freedom; and advocate for the protection of refugees and assure that displaced people are treated with the dignity they deserve.
