The Hebrew Academy of Nassau County High School is a mission-driven, modern Orthodox, co-educational private yeshiva high school located in Nassau County.  HANC is seeking a passionate and experienced High School STEM Teacher for a full-time position beginning September 2026.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will teach various STEM related courses, fostering a dynamic and student-centered learning environment. Courses include: 

  • Engineering (various levels)

  • Physics 

  • AP Physics 

Qualifications

We are looking for an educator who:

  • Possesses strong curricular knowledge and a deep understanding of Science, Technology, Engineering and/or Mathematics instruction. 

  • Is committed to a student-centered approach that encourages discovery and exploration

  • Thrives in a collaborative, engaging, and growth-oriented school community
